Most of Estero is newer PVC and does not have this problem. But the older pockets do, and that is who this page is for.
We will be straight with you: a lot of Estero does not need us. Most of the town was built after 1990, which means most homes here were plumbed in PVC from day one, and PVC does not corrode the way cast iron does. If your Estero house is from a newer community, your drain lines are probably fine, and we would rather tell you that than sell you a camera inspection you do not need.
Estero is not all new. There are older homes scattered through the area, and along the older corridors near the river and the original crossroads you will find houses old enough to have cast iron under the slab. Those are the ones worth checking. The rule is simple: if your house predates the mid-1970s, cast iron is likely, no matter how much newer construction surrounds it.
Two signals. One, your house is genuinely old for Estero. Two, a 4-point inspection flagged the plumbing. We quote both options honestly. If the older pipe is intact enough, CIPP lining around seventeen thousand avoids cutting concrete. If it is bellied or broken, a full replacement runs thirty to fifty.
